Jack J. Grams
Jack is an Account Executive with Caraustar’s Converted Products Group and has been recognized as one of the top three Caraustar folding carton salesmen for 2008. He joined Society for Packaging and Handling Engineers in 1976 which, as you know, became IOPP. Jack has held numerous elected and volunteer offices in the IOPP Minnesota Chapter and helped secure its financial security. At the national level, Jack has chaired the Chapter of the Year Committee. He is presently the IOPP North Central Regional VP for chapters in Wisconsin, Illinois, and MN. Jack was accepted into IOPP’s College of Fellows in 2004. 2007 Permaculture Design (http://www.packagedesignmag.com/issues/2007.12/principles.shtml) Packaging Design Magazine featured an article by Dan Halsey on Permaculture Principles to package design. This article and related efforts have led to the development of a course at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). Permaculture Design will be on the course list for MCAD's Sustainable Design Certificate Program. MCAD will be offering the 50 hour on-line course starting in July 2008.

New package is 80% smaller than previous design while reducing package waste by 54%. The new design also eliminated PVC from the package. The new downsized package utilizes a clip-less dispenser and DVD case. Symbols labeling reduced final product configuration from 237 to 42.
