IoPP Sustainable Packaging Technical Committee

The IoPP Sustainable Packaging Technical Committee is a focal point for the packaging community on sustainable
packaging issues:

It facilitates the exchange of knowledge on sustainable packaging.
It responds to priorities expressed by IoPP members and by the packaging community.
It promotes education.
It fosters networking among IoPP members, the packaging community, and society on the issue of
sustainable packaging.

Vision Statement:

The SPTC will act as a unifying force for the diverse group of individuals and job functions involved in
sustainable packaging.
Where it is within the technical expertise of IoPP members and others in the packaging community, the
SPTC will seek to standardize or validate definitions and information related to sustainable packaging.

The SPTC will help the packaging community communicate more effectively on sustainability issues, and
it will create educational media for sustainable packaging information.
