Our Vision
The Technical Bag Committee is recognized as the leading expert group in the body of knowledge related to shipping bags - sharing knowledge and ideas through a network of manufacturers, users and shippers to advance commercial bag applications through technological innovation.

Our Mission

 

The Technical Bag Committee provides a forum for members to advance professional development, exchange technical information, present innovative products and services, network with industry leaders, stay abreast of technology trends / regulations, and ultimately, continuously improve the products we market.

Activities

  • Three meetings per year are held. An agenda is published prior to each meeting. Agenda items are primarily, committee business issues, plant tours, presentations and special events of interest to the committee. Meetings are open to Committee members, potential members (you), and invited guests. Sounds interesting? 'Want to come and check it out?   • Task Forces may be formed to address specific "common" committee issues in problem resolution, product development and continuous improvement in products or services.
  • Technical Bag Committee may provide information and assistance to the IoPP Technical Committees, Governmental Agencies, and to Industry.

Membership

The Committee is open to all persons interested in packaging within the committee's scope. Typical membership functions consist of: Packaging Engineers, Purchasing Agents/Mgrs., Technical Support, Technical Sales/Product Development, Regulatory Expert, and Trade / Technical Councils.
