A message from the President:

Colleagues of the IoPP Central Ohio:

I am very proud to announce that at last week's IoPP Leadership Conference in Chicago, our Chapter won a 2012 Chapter of Excellence Award! This is the first time since 2008 that our club has been recognized by the National office for Excellence. I want to thank all of you that have been actively involved in the meetings and tours of 2012. I'd also like to ask those who have not been actively participating to get back involved with our Chapter. We truly try to cater our content to help you as an individual network and grow professionally.

Our Board of Directors is excited about our upcoming Fall 2013 schedule that we recently have been working on finalizing. September will kick off the fun with an IoPP Trivia Night (details to follow). I'm sure that this will be a fun experience with prizes and big brain bragging rights on the line.

We are also looking at finalizing other great meetings and tours which will be announced once they are finalized.

One key takeaway from last week's Leadership Conference that I heard over and over from multiple people, is that people get much more out of IoPP than the efforts that they put in.

If you are looking for a value-add activity in your life, I encourage you to get out and get more involved with our club. I'm looking for dedicated people to help bolster our Board of Directors and help guide out Chapter into the future. If you are interested in becoming more involved, let me know! Shoot me a note at doug.compton@scotts.com.

Regards,
Doug Compton, CPP
President - IoPP Central Ohio Chapter
