Golf Scramble at Foxfire Golf Club

The golf scramble is almost here! Grab any of your friends and sign up! Remember that this is a great chance to get out and have fun (all skill levels are welcome) and that this fundraiser benefits local packaging scholarships that help support the local packaging industry. There will be great raffle prizes up for grabs & freebies just for playing.

Announcement of format and rules of engagement for the scramble.

  • Sponsor the $10,000 Hole-In-One Challenge for $400.00 - Be the sponsor for this exciting event. Name/logo recognition at the Hole-In-One Challenge hole.
  • Be a Flagship Sign Sponsor for $500.00 - Premium signage and noted contributor to the IoPP Packaging Education Scholarship Fund

Sponsorship - 2015 IoPP Golf Scramble
Again, this event is our Chapter's main fundraiser of the year. To date this event has helped our Chapter raise over $4,500 in scholarships that have supported the IoPP Packaging Education Scholarship Fund. This year we hope to donate at an additional $1,000 towards our running total.

Prior Chapter Events

May 28th, 2015:                        

-- We all had a chance to learn about and discuss bio-polymers as Mango Materials and OBIC presented very interesting and cutting edge technology over dinner at Brio.


April 14th, 2015:                        

-- 16-BIT Bar+Arcade hosted our networking event, catered by Melt Bar & Grill, and the vintage arcade competition was a blast. 



March 5th, 2015:                        

-- We toured Accel Inc.'s new 1.4 million square foot park in New Albany, OH. We had a great turnout & a really informative tour.


January 20th, 2015:                        

-- Double Comfort Restaurant welcomed us in and shared their story. Great experience and opportunity to show off IoPP skill sets during this Packaging Challenge event!



October 31st, 2014:                        

-- BioProducts World 2014 Showcase & Conference Highlights Webinar based on the conference held in Columbus earlier in the year.

-- IoPP Trivia Night! We had a great turnout and a really fun time.

A message from the President:

Colleagues of the IoPP Central Ohio:

I am very proud to announce that at last week's IoPP Leadership Conference in Chicago, our Chapter won a 2012 Chapter of Excellence Award! This is the first time since 2008 that our club has been recognized by the National office for Excellence. I want to thank all of you that have been actively involved in the meetings and tours of 2012. I'd also like to ask those who have not been actively participating to get back involved with our Chapter. We truly try to cater our content to help you as an individual network and grow professionally.

Our Board of Directors is excited about our upcoming Fall 2013 schedule that we recently have been working on finalizing. September will kick off the fun with an IoPP Trivia Night (details to follow). I'm sure that this will be a fun experience with prizes and big brain bragging rights on the line.

We are also looking at finalizing other great meetings and tours which will be announced once they are finalized.

One key takeaway from last week's Leadership Conference that I heard over and over from multiple people, is that people get much more out of IoPP than the efforts that they put in.

If you are looking for a value-add activity in your life, I encourage you to get out and get more involved with our club. I'm looking for dedicated people to help bolster our Board of Directors and help guide out Chapter into the future. If you are interested in becoming more involved, let me know!
