IoPP Scholarship winners for 2011-2012 announced IoPP is pleased to announce the winners of the Institute's academic scholarships for 2011-2012. Four $2,500 academic scholarships were awarded, recognizing exceptional college students headed for a career in packaging. The 2011-2012 winners – all student members of IoPP – are: Robert Bruce Duncan, University of Massachusetts - Lowell; Ian Thomas McClaire, University of Wisconsin - Stout; Alexandria Leigh Siciliano, Michigan State University; Emily Ruth Wiggins, Michigan State University. 2011 Salary Survey results published in Packaging World Over 1,900 packaging professionals participated in IoPP's 2011 Salary Survey. As in previous years, this year's survey shows that membership in IoPP has its rewards regarding salary. Simply, IoPP members make more money. Even higher on the salary scale are Certified Packaging Professionals. Packaging Professionals who are CPP designated tend to make about 7% more in total compensation compared to non-certified professionals.
