Pack Expo sessions now free to IoPP members The IoPP Packaging Learning Center (PLC) sessions originally presented during the Pack Expo show in Chicago this past November are now available free to IoPP members. Normally available for purchase for $99 per session, these programs are offered to members as a benefit of membership. To access over 12 hours of online training, members will need a PLC username and password. Simply e-mail info@iopp.org and request the username and password to access the PLC Pack Expo sessions. Each session is about 60 minutes long, and are video and audio presentations along with accompanying slides. IoPP announces AmeriStar Award winners IoPP is pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 AmeriStar Package Awards competition. Over 100 packages were submitted for awards consideration in North America's most prestigious packaging awards competition. Judges evaluated and analyzed packages from over 17 categories at IoPP Headquarters in Naperville, Illinois, on February 10, 2011. Top winners included the Best of Show Award, sponsored by Lansmont and the 3M Sustainability Award, sponsored by 3M. Judging was based on package innovation, sustainability, protection, economics, performance, and marketing.
