Chicago Chapter makes donation to IoPP Packaging Education Scholarship Fund
During their Fall Chapter Kick-off Meeting on September 8, the Chicago Chapter donated $5,000 to the IoPP Packaging Education Scholarship Fund. Chicago Chapter President Marty Zei, presented the check to Jim George, IoPP Director of Education.

IoPP to sponsor two packaging sessions at the AAPEX show in November
Two packaging-related sessions will be sponsored by IoPP at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) show  November 1-3 in Las Vegas. The two IoPP sessions are "Packaging That Attracts Consumers: What Works in the Automotive Aftermarket," presented by Jim George, IoPP Director of Education; and "Making Packaging a Team Player in Brand Protection," presented by Keith Cutri, Director of Business Development, Kodak Security Solutions and Pat Arnold, Trademark Attorney, McAndrews Held & Malloy Ltd. The two sessions are taking place on November 2.

WPO WorldStar competition announces Call for Entries 
The World Packaging Organisation (WPO) has announced its Call for Entries into their WorldStar Package Awards Competition. IoPP AmeriStar winners are eligible and should sumit their entries now. Deadline for entering the WorldStar competition is October 14. Winners will be announced in December. Gain global recognition. Enter now!

IoPP endorses the China International Transport Packaging Summit 2011
The China International Transport Packaging Summit will be held by Duxes Business Consulting Inc. on 27-28 October 2011 at the Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center. The World Packaging Organisation's (WPO) WorldStar Student Awards competition is for students from countries around the world to develop projects in the field of packaging design. The WorldStar Student Awards, with its wide publicity throughout WPO’s global publications, will provide an opportunity for the winners to gain professional acknowledgement and entrance into a career as a packaging professional. The WorldStar Student Awards competition, organized by China National Export Commodities Packaging Research Institute (CEPI), will be a forum for the world’s student population to contribute its creativity in packaging design.
