We are really sorry about the slow update on this news page.
What a great year 2013 has been for the packaging industry! The recent Packaging News awards show just how buoyant and full of ideas we still are and the next looks set to continue as the emphasis changes to saving food waste. Packaging, as we professionals know, has a vital contribution to make in saving waste and we look forward to seeing what 2014 brings.

Start them young
Primary schools all over the UK are getting stuck into a ‘Sustainable Christmas’ thanks to a campaign to educate schools about the importance of ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’ when it comes to packaging, implemented by Solo Cup Europe alongside partner the Garden & Leisure Group.
Special Interest Groups
These groups form the core of the IOPP UK offer and they will centre on the latest topics and knowledge sharing, offering members the opportunity to network and gain information from professionals focussed on the same area. They are run by Ambassadors who form the core of the IOPP UK. If you would like to get involved and have a topic you believe should have a Special Interest Group then contact Kevin Vyse on firstname.lastname@example.org
