IoPP adds FASTRAQQ's Packaging360Leadership course to its Packaging Learning Center
IoPP  will offer a new online packaging leadership course through its Packaging Learning Center beginning early in 2013, through a partnership agreement with Fastraqq Corp., an educational management consultancy. Packaging360Leadership will become the latest offering in IoPP’s expanding suite of online packaging education courses, joining IoPP’s Fundamentals of Packaging Technology course at www.iopp.org. These online training programs recognize the value of packaging professionals’ time. The courses are designed so people can select only the content they need and then complete the lessons whenever and wherever it’s convenient for them, from the convenience of their computer screen.

IoPP Packaging Education Scholarship Fund submissions due March 18!
The Institute of Packaging Professionals is pleased to offer four $2,500 academic scholarships for 2013-2014 to recognize exceptional college students headed for a career in packaging. Do you know of any students pursuing a career in packaging that would benefit from this excellent opportunity? The scholarships have been created to support packaging education and to raise awareness of packaging as a career choice. As an added bonus, the top talent identified through this program will be shared with IoPP Benefactor companies as a recruiting tool for their organizations. This could be that post-graduation foot in the door that jump-starts packaging careers! Applications are due soon - deadline for submissions is March 18.

WPO 2012 WorldStar Student Award Winners announced
Over 229 packages were submitted from 17 countries around the world to compete in the World Packaging Organisation's (WPO) international packaging design competition for students. Through publicity of WPO's global presence, student winners are provided the opportunity to gain professional acknowledgement and entrance into a career as a packaging professional. Awards winners will be recognized during the U.S. Student Packaging Jamboree at Michigan State University held March 21-23, 2013.

IoPP UK to sponsor the Packaging Innovations Conference & Exhibition 2013
Packaging Innovations 2013, taking place February 27-28, 2013 in Birmingham, UK is the only show of its kind in the UK concentrating on packaging design.
