IoPP Board Member Robert Meisner granted tenure at UW-Stout
Robert Meisner, CPP, IoPP's Executive Vice President-Education and Certification, was recently granted tenure by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents. Meisner has been a faculty member in the Engineering and Technology Department at UW-Stout for the past six years. To achieve tenure, a faculty member must apply for it by submitting documentation to the personnel committee outlining contributions to the university in three areas: teaching, research and service. The committee votes and recommends tenure to the Board of Regents who have final say regarding tenure. "I was honored to receive tenure," said Meisner. "It confirms that my hard work and efforts to date have been recognized and appreciated by my employer. I look forward to serving the packaging industry and IoPP as a tenured faculty at UW-Stout."
