The New IoPP!
All members are not created equal. Why? Because packaging professionals join IoPP for different reasons and utilize different levels of services that IoPP provides. With the improved services that IoPP has invested in over the past few years, the board of directors, with membership input, decided that there was a need to equalize the cost/benefit for members. To name just a few, these improved services include: online training, including web-based Fundamentals of Packaging Technology and the upcoming Packaging360 Leadership program; monthly webinars; and CPP program upgrades. The new tiered membership model is in keeping with membership organization trends, which allow people the flexibility to choose the level of membership they want.

You only need to pay for the membership services that you find valuable!
To give you more options and a flexible program to fit exactly what you need, a tiered membership option was developed. After all, why should you pay for services you don't use? For those who only use a handful of IoPP's programs, there are basic membership options available. And for those looking for a higher-level, are in positions of influence, innovation and managment, there are membership levels available to help you as you reach the top of your career.

Next IoPP webinar focused on appropriate sample size for package testing
Determining an appropriate sample size for medical device package testing is an essential consideration for anyone pursuing the validation of a sterile barrier system. “How many should I test” is one of the top questions medical device packaging engineers must consider when developing a sterile barrier system validation plan, and applicable regulatory guidance is not definitive or prescriptive. Karen Greene, CPP, Vice President, Life Packaging Technology, LLC, will discuss this issue in this IoPP webinar taking place October 16, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. CST.
