IoPP developing packaging seminars for multi-show event June 10 in New York

Kraft recalls 96,000 pounds of hot dogs after packaging problem

Kraft is recalling 96,000 pounds of hot dogs because packaging labels were incorrect, federal officials said recently.
The Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners packages may have contained cheese dogs, officials said, but the packaging doesn't advise consumers that they contain milk, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a statement.

Glenroy Inc., a manufacturer of flexible packaging, has provided packaging material for HopeGel, a nutrient and calorie-dense protein gel designed to aid children suffering from severe acute malnutrition. HopeGel has been distributed to children in Haiti where malnutrition is the No. 1 cause of death among children under five — through the work of a nonprofit, grassroots organization called the HopeGel Project.
