IoPP Website update
The IoPP website is currently undergoing upgrades that will benefit you as a member of the Institute. New upgrades include back-end accounting processing improvements, including instant receipt generation; improved membership database management and content development; instant member profile updating and personal management; discussion forums for peer-to-peer communications; improved communications between board, members, chapters and technical committees; "deeper" members only sections (the ability to designate specific member types for accessing specific web site sections); and more. Please be aware that while we are trying to ensure that there will be no interruptions in website service, there may be some programming "bugs" and/or some site downtime during this period.

Questions, concerns about the IoPP website can be directed to cbarry@iopp.org

Member login information
NOTE: During the IoPP website upgrade, your login information may have changed. When logging, in you must insert your current IoPP ID Number into the Member ID # field located on the login page. Your password is now the first initial of your first name and last name (for example: kstaley).

For member login information, contact Kelly Staley at kstaley@iopp.org

Member profile management key to website improvements
New website upgrades will help members to better manage their profiles online. Member profile updates will be instantaneous with renewals and member activities trackable through the site's dynamic membership database. Receipts for joining, renewing memberships and event participation will be generated and e-mailed directly to members in real time as well stored in the back office database, preserving each member's history with IoPP.

IoPP website opens door to packaging community
Direct peer-to-peer communications are now available at www.iopp.org. Improved communications between the IoPP board, members, chapters and technical committees are now possible through the website via discussion forums, which are customizable according to specific IoPP group needs. Forums are flexible and can be open to the general public, to members only, or open only to members of specific committees. Forums allow IoPP members to connect with their peers to share ideas and concepts, upload or store documents, or develop password protected forums open to specific committee members. Forums also include blogging capabilities!

Contact Chris Barry at cbarry@iopp.org for more information about IoPP discussion forums

Chapters, Technical Committees - manage your own web pages
Many IoPP Chapters and Technical Committees currently manage their own web pages within the IoPP website. Because of current website upgrades, the look and feel of the site may seem different. New website Chapter and Technical Committee management instructions are currently being developed and will be sent to all Chapter and Technical Committee leaders upon completion. Look for your updated website management instructions within the next week or two. NOTE: during upgrade, Chapters and Technical Committee pages may not have carried over most recent information you may have posted before the upgrade. Please visit your web pages to make sure information is current. If not, please contact Chris Barry at cbarry@iopp.org to ensure your pages are up to date.
