World Packaging Organisation launches World Packaging News
The World Packaging News (WPN) - the official publication of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), which encompasses over 116,000 members representing 41 countries (IoPP is a member of WPO) - was launched around the world on October 5. WPN's mission is to create a global community that is comprised of original editorial - not published anywhere else - and written by renowned international packaging editors who are established experts in the packaging press. Each editor comes from a different part of the world and will focus on issues that impact their geographical location but resonate on an international level. Worldwide regions represented in WPN include: Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America and South America. "We are the global antenna, capturing strategies, news, ideas and behaviors from many regions and translating them to actionable information for the packaging professional," says Lilliam Benzi, Editorial Director, World Packaging News. Distributed monthly to all WPO members, WPN is both an electronic newsletter and website.
