Reservations can be made by calling the Umstead Hotel, at 919.447.4000 between 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday-Friday.  Registration is on an individual basis - please notify reservations that you are with the PPLC to receive the special room rate of $210.  Please advise of any special needs when making your reservation.

To ensure you are included in the block, please make your reservation by the cutoff date of April 11, 2011. If reservations have not been made by April 11,  the hotel will not guarantee space or the special price

Please note, the rate does not include state and local taxes which will be extra.  There is complimentary wireless internet access and use of spa facilities (whirlpool, sauna and steam room) included with this room rate.  

If reservations have not been made by April 11,  the hotel will not guarantee space or the special price. All rooms must be guaranteed by a credit card with a one-night deposit. Airport/Transportation:

The Raleigh-Durham Airport is the closest to use.  They offer a variety of transportation options, ranging from taxi and limousine service to rental cars and shuttle buses. All accommodations to the hotel need to be made on an individual basis.

To schedule a taxi - please call (919) 840-7277 or make a reservation at RDUTaxiinc.com . Reservations and on-demand service are available.  The SuperShuttle offers shared ride van service throughout the Research Triangle Region. The company accepts reservations through their website as well as at one of three counters at the airport.  To book limousine service you can access through the RDU website www.rdu.com.

Welcome Reception:

The reception, provided by our host, Merrill-Brinks, is from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Umstead Hotel on Sunday May 15th.
