IoPP AmeriStar winners announced
IoPP is pleased to announce the winners of the IoPP's AmeriStar Package Awards program. Judges evaluated and analyzed packages from 15 categories at IoPP Headquarters in Naperville, Illinois, on April 23, 2013. Top AmeriStar winners included the Best of Show Award, the Sustainability Award and the Design Excellence Award for high quality structural & graphic design. Judging was based on package innovation, sustainability, protection, economics, performance, and marketing. Winners will be honored at the AmeriStar and Visionary Awards Reception, taking place June 19 at EastPack in Philadelphia, PA.

Next IoPP IoPP webinar focused on product fraud prevention 
Brand owners have always been concerned with counterfeiting and diversion, but their bigger brand-protection responsibilities include more types of fraud. IoPP to host packaging education conference at HBA
IoPP and UBM Live announce a one-day packaging education conference at HBA Global Expo & Conference 2013. UBM Live is the producer of the trade show and conference, which will be in its 21st year. The IoPP conference will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. As the leading product development event for the cosmetics, fragrance, personal care and skin industry, HBA draws more than 15,000 industry professionals, and will run June 18-20, 2013.

Save the dates! IoPP 2013 Leadership Conference taking place in August
This annual IoPP conference is focused on expanding and developing leadership skills to help packaging professionals in their careers as well as within the Institute. Full agenda includes keynote speaker Glen Anderson. Glen Anderson is a recently retired association business executive, currently advising small business entrepreneurs on how to be successful leaders. Glen will also disucss his ideas for successful leadership in both association service and corporate life. The conference also includes IoPP's Honors & Awards reception on the evening of August 19 and a packaging facility tour on August 20. Details and registration will be available shortly.
