IoPP webinar focused on medical device packaging
IoPP's next webinar, Developing & Validating High-Barrier, Flexible F/F/S Packages for Moisture- and Oxygen-Sensitive Medical Devices, presented by Karen Greene, CPP, is taking place online November 15 at 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. CST. This presentation will delve into the steps involved in designing a package that meets the appropriate criteria for barrier packaging for medical devices. Karen will share a sample case study to show how the principles she lays out can work in action. Please submit your vote for the IoPP 2012 Board of Directors
The IoPP Nominating Committee is pleased to present the IoPP 2012 Slate of Officers for your approval. It is the responsibility of the IoPP membership to elect these individuals to their respective positions of Chair, President, etc., as well as the VP of Education and VP of Certification. VP Chapters and VP Technical Committees are elected by their respective Committees to serve on the Board of Directors. IoPP members in good standing vote on this slate through a general election that ends on Friday, December 16. The election results will be announced shortly after. The term for the new Board runs January 1 - December 31, 2012.

IoPP to sponsor two packaging sessions at the AAPEX show in November
Two packaging-related sessions will be sponsored by IoPP at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) show  November 1-3 in Las Vegas. The two IoPP sessions are "Packaging That Attracts Consumers: What Works in the Automotive Aftermarket," presented by Jim George, IoPP Director of Education; and "Making Packaging a Team Player in Brand Protection," presented by Keith Cutri, Director of Business Development, Kodak Security Solutions and Pat Arnold, Trademark Attorney, McAndrews Held & Malloy Ltd. The two sessions are taking place on November 2.
