EPR readiness: What packaging teams should do now

Thursday, February 26
11 AM - 12 PM (EST)

Extended Producer Responsibility is rapidly becoming a day-to-day reality for packaging teams. With legislation active across multiple states and new requirements emerging, many organizations are facing the same challenge: understanding what EPR readiness looks like today and how to prepare without perfect data or fully built systems.

In this live session, Matthew Wright, founder and executive chairman of Specright, offers a practical view of how packaging professionals can start building a stronger foundation now. Drawing on real-world experience, he’ll outline how teams are organizing packaging data, improving collaboration across suppliers and internal groups, and putting scalable processes in place as regulations continue to evolve.

Matthew will cover:

  • The packaging and material data required for current and upcoming EPR programs
  • Practical workflows for collecting, validating, and maintaining that data
  • Lessons learned from organizations already managing EPR requirements in the U.S. and globally
  • How digital systems support better visibility, traceability, and long-term reporting

Designed for packaging professionals at any stage of EPR preparation, this session focuses on clear, actionable strategies. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to move from uncertainty to a structured, scalable approach to EPR readiness. Register now.
