2012 Salary Survey results published Over 1,450 packaging professionals participated in IoPP's 2012 Salary Survey (developed in cooperation with Gros Executive Recruiters and media sponsor Packaging World). As in previous years, this year's survey shows that membership in IoPP has its rewards regarding salary. Simply, IoPP members make more money. Even higher on the salary scale are Certified Packaging Professionals. Packaging Professionals who are CPP designated tend to make about 7% more in total compensation compared to non-certified professionals. For survey report, click here |

Two webinars, two perspectives on supply chain optimization Supply chain enhancement has become an essential strategy for success. In Memoriam: Mark Jacobson PMMI Past Chairman (1996) Mark Jacobson, vice president of Econocorp Inc., passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Jacobson, a 2009 inductee into the Packaging Hall of Fame, was an active member of PMMI, serving on PMMI’s Board of Directors (1995-1997 and 2000–2003), serving as Chairman of the Board in 1996. Throughout his tenure with PMMI, he played integral roles in decisions to launch PACK EXPO Las Vegas, to acquire the rights to EXPO PACK México, and to expand PMMI membership to component suppliers and materials/containers suppliers.
