Next IoPP webinar focused on sustainability and package design Many companies focus mostly on material choices when thinking about packaging and sustainability, but space utilization often can strongly affect the environmental impact as well. A more holistic approach to truly successful sustainable packaging will be discussed in an upcoming IoPP webinar, “Sustainability: Step 1 = Better Package Design.” Taking place September 11 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. CST, the presentation, delivered by Kevin Howard, Senior Packaging Consultant, Packnomics LLC, will focus on how to attain the highest density of products in fixed amounts of space. Also find out where and how a package design process is flawed if it follows the old six-step process, in which more packaging is added to survive a laboratory test that probably doesn’t really reflect the types of hazards the package must actually survive.
