Standard IoPP Webinar - Bottle Paneling: Issues and Prevention

Paneling is a condition that is often misunderstood. The causes and effects of this condition can be easily misdiagnosed and can result in brand damage, leaks and even recalls.  It is not uncommon for some regulatory groups to demand a recall, and in some parts of the world impose a stiff fine for each package unit found with the condition.

During this webinar we will review the most common causes and explore ways to combat the effects:

  • Know the product ingredients and their action/reaction
  • Understand the environment
  • Consider the mode of transport and even the route and potential extreme conditions
  • Identify the warehouse practices
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the package manufacturing process and how a defect in package quality can contribute to the condition
