Program Director, The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR)

With more than 14 years of experience across plastics, paper packaging, and reclamation, Ruben brings a strong background in advancing sustainable packaging solutions and leads the Preferred Design Recognition Pathway within APR’s Design for Recyclability Recognition Program. He joined APR in 2023 and holds a degree from Michigan State University.

Program Director, The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR)

Joining APR in 2023, Sarah brings nearly two decades of experience in consumer product design, manufacturing, and engineering, and leads efforts to expand and refine the APR Design Guide for Plastics Recyclability. She holds an engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, combining technical expertise with a passion for practical solutions in plastics recyclability.
